Staff Profiles

Janet M. Capponi EA – Janet is the owner of Bangor Business and Tax Service. She was educated at University of Maine at Machias and holds an accounting degree and is an Enrolled Agent. She is an active member of the National Association of Tax Professionals and is a board member of a local Credit Union. Janet resides in Bangor, Me.  with her family. She enjoys travel, skiing, and going to the beach with a good book. 

Tyler H. Thompson Retired EA – Tyler received a BA in economics from Hamilton College and a MS in management from USC. He achieved the rank of Lt. Commander in the US Navy. Tyler is the prior owner of Bangor Business and Tax Service and established high standards for the company and developed loyal clients. He enjoys cooking, reading, and  lives in Hancock, Me with his cat.

Thomas M. Dwyer – Tom is the office manager and a graduate of the University of Maine. He was a business owner for twenty years and went on to manage a book superstore. Tom has extensive small business and human resource experience. He has been with Bangor Business and Tax Service for four years. He enjoys reading, travel, and family time.
